I really don’t know how I can put a price tag on a product that delivers a thousand hours of enjoyment!

I've had much more enjoyment then that.

Me too!

And the best part about this is that we are not even at the half way point of our enjoyment!

Hey Born, I was going to mention the SSI games also. But I thought that nobody would remember them. When those came out I thought they were really cool. I might still have those old disks around some where. Now I'm going to hunt them down and rig up a 1.44 disk drive and see if they work still. I wonder if any one else has them? As I think more on it, I believe I tossed all my old disks out, what a dummy.

Some are online as abandonware. I downloaded Gettysburg a while ago. Give me a few and I'll post a link.

You may have to do a Search on the Internet to make those games compatible with your current System.

Most of those games were written for DOS.

Here ya' go RD.

Didn't look like there were any lost leaders. If they want you to do something else besides download let me know. I know I got Gettysburg without restrictions. You'll probably need dosbox or something similar to run them.. If I can help, let me know,

Also Avalon Hill's Gettysburg in '62. My favorite of all the old board games of Gettysburg - indeed, of any of the civil war battle games - was Terrible Swift Sword; forgot who made it. Best board campaign game of the CW was ... forgot the name. The one with production tracks and a pool of generals to assign, promote and fire ... But this is without a doubt the best battle computer game of the Civil War. If this could be expanded into a campaign ... dare I say it? ... the entire war, it would be heaven, but long and hard to find enough players to give it life, even if the naval part were omitted. *sigh*

Thanks fellas, I found some old dos 6.2 set up disks. But no civil war disks. I searched the web also and found the same web sites that you did. I'll fill my nostalgia needs and get back to SOW soon.
