Can the color of the sky be changed?
All,
This is a follow-on from my earlier topic re: "Making the Sky cloudier." I posted this question on that topic but received no replies, probably because it was on that topic thread.
So, IS it possible to change the color of the sky from Blue-ish to something like a light Gray, perhaps? That would blend in the sky better with the Fog Mod.
Thoughts?
Jack

D,
It can be moderately difficult if
(A) Most of the skycube information was removed (as you will recall) when the Fog Mod was formed, so I have no idea where to start.
(B) one has no real idea what the numbers mean.
(C) have a real life which vastly interferes with damn near anything else, (like this), I have going on. You try doing (literally) all the thinking for three seperate sets of families here AND hold down a full-time job. Any wonder I'd rather ask then spend my very limited time trying to figure it out?

D,
BTW, it worked. Great job on the numbers. Looks just like dawn patrols I used to walk out on. Much appreciated.

Jack,
A – Most of the modding files will be hidden away in the SDK.
B – I have no idea what the numbers mean, but using the colors’ of 50-60 will give you the color of gray.
C – I refuse to answer on the grounds that personal information should never be discussed over the Internet, that’s why it’s personal.
D – I was always under the impression that I did have a life while modding, #$%^, now what do I do?

Re: Can the color of the sky be changed?
This had me baffled since the beginning of modding this game. Then, working with font colors, I discovered that my graphics program, Paint.net, displayed the pallet colors in numbers in it's expanded form. Now, I can pick any color I want, and get it in the game via those numbers.B – I have no idea what the numbers mean, but using the colors’ of 50-60 will give you the color of gray.

Exactly, using a Graphical Program and a color picking tool - finding colors' are no longer a problem. This had me baffled since the beginning of modding this game. See, this is exactly what I don't pay you guys for. I have zero time to find this stuff out. Y'all will notice almost all my posts are in the middle of the night, my time. It is really the only time I have. If I get anything down regarding the game, it is almost more by accident then design. Remember all the cool stuff we did for TC2M? Not happening now.

Well, maybe you don’t have the time at this moment, but next month, next year, things will probably be different. As of right now, you just started a new maneuver, so things are going to be hectic. You do, whatever you have to do, to maintain.I have zero time to find this stuff out.

As for me, this game has help to keep my sanity by distracting me from the daily hassles of life.
And for me, at this moment, that is all that matters.
