Ammo Wagons.. How Do You Deal?

Post by NefariousKoel »

I've been waffling about how best to deal with ammo wagons and their overwhelming urge to run across lines and surrender to the enemy ASAP.

While I'll often TC them when they start the usual defection-via-road, it becomes a pain in larger (corps) situations when there is already too much to do. I'd prefer to run them to units that need ammo, but it becomes too much micromanagement at that point. Sending units off the line, to fetch their own ammo is also a no-no in my book for a few reasons (I'm sure you all know).

So what how do you guys handle them when the fit has been in the shan for awhile and you start having multiple units getting low on ammunition?

I usually don't have too much trouble with ammo distribution because I awlays keep the wagons close to the lines. I also found something useful and that is keeping units in reserve so if a unit needs to come off the line to get ammo then you plug the hole with your reserve.
