Panaromic view of Scourge of War - Gettysburg game - TEST ONLY!

Post by Michael Slaunwhite »

Hi.

This is just a test only, so if you walk away from the 360 panoramic view of the battlefield feeling empty, well maybe you should have brought some popcorn :)

Anyway, this is only a test...Still trying to find better programs to produce better results.

It took 277 screen shots to get it somewhat viewable. I figure to cover all angles properly, and maybe make it look better I would need close to 350 plus. The thing is every millimeter you move the mouse you take a screen shot, and if the mouse moves up or down slightly you can get a boogered copy but the program I'm using to stitch the shots together actually does in some cases clear it up.

I like format 1. Pretty cool. If you could get the image quality better then it would be awesome.

Hi Sir.

I like the first one as well. I'm trying to figure out which program is causing the loss of quality in the screen shots. If I can only keep the quality I know I can get better results with this.

The second .mov file is just not acceptable. I'm wondering if I take more screen shots, would the fishbowl effect disappear...

Thanks for the reply sir, I appreciate it.
