Runtime error

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

I'm also running windows 7 with SOW version 1.103 and i get the same error, it just crashed running GB02 scenario and it crashes if i try to run and user scenarios. :(
So all scenarios are crashing now? What kind of performance are you getting? It's rare for the game to just crash randomly like that in a scenario.. Maybe your graphic settings are too high?

I develop the game on 64 bit Win7, so it's definitely something that I can test on. The problem is that unless I can recreate a crash, I usually can't fix it. Sometimes I get lucky guessing, but not too often.

I can try running big battles for long periods of time each night when I finish up and we'll see if I can recreate the issue.

I'm running an Intel Core I3-530, 2.93 GHz with 4 GB ram, Windows 7 32 bit and a Nvidia GeForce GT220 with 1MB ram, SOW runs very smooth at the highest settings.

I will try lowering the graphic settings and running SOW that way and see if it still crashes.

Hi there, new player here loving the game so far and working my way through the scenarios however ive come up against this runtime error crash as soon as i try one of the bigger corp sized battles . I cannot seem to get more than 20-30 mins into 'three times is not a charm' before the game crashes, though ive being playing the smaller mcpeherrsons ridge scenarios just fine.

Now before i get into all the tedious stuff like checking drivers, antivirus software etc that ive seen people have tried on this thread ( to no avail) i was wondering if there is a known cause to this problem that a patch or software update is likely to fix, or is it still a mystery?

I see by the fact noone has responded to this thread for 3 weeks that it may have been resolved? if so
whats the deal ?

looking forward to seeing you on the field of battle

What you have sounds more like a memory issue. Go to the options screen I and lower the uniform quality a couple of steps. On Options screen II, turn down the percent trees showing to about 2/3 of whatever you have now. If it is a memory issue, this should get you over the hump.

I have not been able to recreate a crash just by running the game for long periods. I've checked the memory and other settings and it all seems to be where I expect it.
