New PC
Re: New PC
I used to always build my own boxes from the ground up, but I've found that it's cheaper to buy something like these. So I bought an HP with the processer that I wanted. Then I upgraded the ram, power supply, video card, and now I've got a great box for less than I could have built it myself from the ground up.
Re: New PC
I would agree, it is sort of hard to compete with the prices of a giant retailer, which can buy the parts by the thousands.
I never had the courage to try to build my own, I always had that thought that if something goes wrong, and the whole system might burn up.
I do like the HPE-480t , the other one (i.e.…490t) that came after it is way, way, far away above my pay grade. It would take me a year to save up that amount!
HP Pavilion Elite HPE-480t series

The only true logic is that, there is no true logic!
