Tech question about artillery

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

Thanks, Jim,

I don't believe anyone has a copy of that game, but will check.

If it does happen again, will save copy.

Thanks

BTW, where does "Skilled" rank in the attributes? It is not listed in the manual and would like to know what it is a synonym for.

Thanks

J

Skilled would be 7th of 10 ranks though it is numbered as 6. There are 10 ranks total starting with 0 and ending with 9. 0 is ranked as RAW and 9 is ranked as ELITE2 or EliteVeteran depending on which attribute you are talking about. Here are the ranking from the Experience table:

0 Untrained
1 Conscript
2 Irregulars
3 Militia
4 Volunteer
5 Seasoned
6 Regular
7 Veteran
8 Elite
9 EliteVeteran
War is cruelty. There is no use trying to reform it. The crueler it is, the sooner it will be over.

Thanks...that is what I had thought to be true, just was wondering the OOB says "Skilled" instead of "Veteran".

As I was looking at the gun charactoristics, I noticed that for some odd reason the Confederates could reload a Nap in 38 seconds while it took the Union 39 seconds. Another example: Confederate could reload an 1841 Rifle in 29 seconds while it took the Union 31 seconds or the CSA 12# Howitzer at 40 seconds and the USA at 41 seconds. What is the source of these numbers and how accurate are they claimed to be?

Just curious.

Still waiting for an answer! Hopefully there was sound reasoning behind these numbers.

Thanks,

Jack,
No basis at all, just minor random variations.
