Mess activation suddenly goes not valid and redownload not going on Help

Well today the game went to activation menu showed the menu to get into game with activation code would only allow me to go into demo mod game open thought to try to deactivate the reactivate message game back after reenter my activation code said was in use at this time so I read on the boards to try and reinstall game and re enter code so now as I re installing the installer stops and says (Base \Graphics\Terrain\Terrain_02.dds: This file contains invalid data (21FC)). Ok what the Hell is going on been playing for weeks and now this please help me correct this as soon as possible Please Cleaburn...........

Sounds like a corrupt download of the game. Try re-downloading the game and re-installing. You also might need your activation code unlocked. Email sowsupport at scourgeofwar dot com with your code from the email address that you used to purchase the game.

I wonder how that could happen without you doing anything different? I know that the activation is matched with the place it's installed. So I'm wondering if maybe you did a full disk defrag? Or some other thing that could have moved the folder where it's installed?

No folder was in same place as installed, now finally got installed says my activation code is still installed and will not deactivate so I can re install code to reactivate!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what.

DEACTIVATE TO ACTIVATE WILL NOT DO SO ,WHY DID AFTER PLAYING SEVERAL weeks GO INTO THIS MODE HAD TO REINSTALL STILL DOING SAME THING SAY Game is still activated will not accept my code !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Based on this and your last post, it sounds as if you performed some major change to your system. Did you modify the partitions of your hard drive or change it's name? Did you clone the hard drive to another computer? If not, then it sounds as if something, perhaps a virus, modified one or more files on your machine.

Just relax. We'll get you going again. We saw your other thread, one thread is enough.

1. Did you see my post about getting your activation unlocked? Do that first.

2. Not sure how your game got corrupted. I know you say you didn't change anything, but something had to change.. Try re-downloading the game from scratch.

3. After game is downloaded again, re-install the fresh game.

Not that I have any idea about why the game suddenly stopped working, why not try the Restore Function – and put your Computer back to what it was several days ago!

If you are not familiar with the Restore Function – do a google search on your operating system!
