Has anyone taken on the Norb, and won?

Post by Michael Slaunwhite »

Just wondering if

1: Have you take on Norb?
2: Did you win?
3: what is his nick for multiplayer?

Just wondering, like to have a game with him.

Free drinks for those who can beat Norb. :)

I think that it will greatly maintain any reputation I have for skillz if I never have to display them :)

Though I was on the south during our team meeting and we won both games :)

I gotta say... I may have had a big part in making Napoleonic Total War back in the day, but I lost as often as I won.

Just knowing the mechanics of the behind-the-scenes stuff does not mean you will necessarily win a lot... unfortunately!

I suppose you are correct. I would see the folks who are the testers would be the one's that would pose the most problem on the battlefield.

Almost like expecting auto engineers to be better drivers because they design automobiles.

But that won't persuade me to think that THE NORB can't kick my butt in the field, I'm sure he has some tricks up his sleeve that would make me, and my men run from the field.

Now to take Mr. Hankey from the end of my nose so I can breathe. :)

Just to give you food for thought. In our MP games, Norb is usually the top commander of whichever side he chooses. Moreover, he is equally adept as either Meade, Lee or any of the corps commanders. He is always the first to reach the VP and only leaves it of his own choosing, never the enemy's. Be afraid...very afraid.

Sometimes he chooses a battery, and tries to stay away from the action, for when an enemy approaches, he usually gets caught, because he doesn't like TC. :P
