I assume we're talking about hitting the F key a second time to be able to pan around while in the saddle and on the move?
Yes, that's what I meant. I should have been more specific. I do like to go to that view several times during a fight. It just amazing to me how those commanders could manage their troops with a map, couriers, and only what they could see. I could go on, but you get the idea.

estabu2, I can't even imagine how the real soldiers felt! I mean, any who survived battle after battle, seeing the deaths, and horrific wounds......and kept on fighting. Damn!

Kind of gives me chills, just thinking about it.

Yes, that should be in this engine. If I remember correctly, I believe that feature came from the MMG test team. It's one of the many great features that came from the team and there's no reason we would not bring those great features forward into this game.

I was never able to do that in TC2M.

It would keep me in the same spot!

When you hit the "F" key once, your in the saddle and can't even turn the camera. Hit it twice, and you can look side to side. Hit it a third time, and the camera is free.

2 times and if I move it from side to side, I lose that view.

I'm sorry Hancock, I don't know why it doesn't work for you. I don't enough about that part of the game, to be able to help.

I'm sure somebody at MMG could explain it. I wish I could.:(

Don't feel bad. I don't use that function except when I am cresting a hill and I can't manover myself over that far.

Yes, if you MOVE you lose the view, but if you just LOOK (mouse turn only) you don't
