Blue_Grey Mod version01 Beta Version!

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

It was my fault for the first corrupt download.. For some reason when it uploaded to the server, the file size tripled! It was weird stuff.. Sorry about that....

Too bad some folks are having problems, it works fine for me. I'm sure Davinci will get it sorted out though. :)

Hey, it`s all good LP. We don`t mind at all. We`re like you, we know he`ll get it going in time. It`s really nice to see so many doing these these great Mods for this game. To me, even without the Mods, this game is one of the best, and with them, it enhances the game that much more. So to all the Dev team, and all the Mods out there, fantastic job guys.

Hey LP,

Stuff happens..

:silly: :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo:

We all know how much is on your plate with all of the work that you do....
What is really weird in my case is the first download, which I guess was corrupted, works fine for me. It is the 2nd upload that I cannot get it to run...

OOH, no you don’t!
This is One-Hundred-Percent – my fault, I should have never changed my default files, but I got impatient while awaiting the SDK.
So, this has forced me to delete all of my current files, and re-install the default game, which I’m in the process of doing now!

So it’s only natural that my game will run with these files, because my game is modded around these files, it’s only when others try to run that the problem occurs!

I agree, this game was good , but it took the work of the team to continue to push forward, and the new Alpine Map has really brought this game to a whole new level. Now this game is on the level of great !

Hey, I know that you stated that you deleted the file, but did you also delete the winrar file that contained the first download?

I created a folder called Downloaded files – and this is where I place all of my downloads from years ago. We roughly got our computers around the same time, so I know that you should have at least 500GB of hard-drive space available.

Davinci,

I still have both downloads, the .zip and the .rar
I deleted the Mod folder that the .zip created, the .zip itself (where it sat in my Recycle Bin), and then I downloaded and installed the .rar mod file
I currently have both folders that are created with your download in my Mod folder where once in the game I can enable either one. This was how I was able to test to see if the first one worked.

How about a third copy!
Hey, if anyone is interested in testing here is another copy of what will be the BlueGreyModV2.

This is an untested version – but there are no errors showing up in the log file.

I did a complete reinstall – patched to the latest version – applied latest SDK.

Redone all of the csv files – renamed some of the uniforms - this is Hi-Lo-Res Beta2

Now, if after the first shot, all of the men throw down their arms and start running for the hills, I did warn you that it is un-tested!

I’ll test it when after I get some sleep, so I’m going to post it here on the third page, this should help to keep it buried, to avoid multiple downloads.
