Has this ever happned to you?

The other night I was playing SOW (usual occurrence), and I tell you I was getting hammered, and I'm not kidding...I am one horrible player. So I cracked open a beer, and had at another game, by the time I had my 4th beer for some crazy reason I simply played like a pro. I mowed the enemy down, I seemed to be quicker with my orders, I just rocked.

By the time I had 3 more beers I had to stop, trying to attack the enemy on the left didn't work out so well, since there wasn't anyone on the left. Double vision made me think I was playing sober again....so off to bed.

One more thing, never play with a hangover. Trying to play the game while hugging the toilet just doesn't work out so well.

My Dear Mikesla, It would seem that I have read many an account of Generals during the War of the Rebellion doing the exact same thing. It appears they too felt like they could conquer the world with a none to few sips of liquid bravery. But being at your home and in command of electronic soldiers, you are to be given a pass as to your ability to continue in command. In my humble opinion of course.

I never tried playing with a buzz, but I like your style.

As for the hangover...I did try playing last week with a migraine. I liken that to a hangover intensified x 100. I have to say that I got my arse handed to me on that one.

oh man I know what those are like. The wife has them every once in awhile, and we have to put her in a dark room, and make no noise, her whole day is gone because of it.

I can't believe you played a game while like that, now that's dedication. No wonder you got your arse beat. You are definatly right, it's 100 plus more painful than having a hangover.

Now that takes guts!

Hehe...I can laugh about it now, but I was sweating buckets and everytime I moved the camera in-game, I thought I would vomit. I had to look away from the monitor, then move the camera, then look back at the monitor :S

The pain was intense and I could barely concentrate. But I was hosting and didn't want to let everyone down. Plus, I'm an addict :laugh:

I can only imagine what you went through. I have to say your are one dedicated player to suffer through that.

Tell me, how often do you get those headaches? Depending on what happens through the day, and what my wife may eat, she may get maybe one or two a month.
