Where's the Ambience?

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

Where's the Ambience?

Post by Michael Slaunwhite »

Hi.

I have started a new game with the Alpine map, and I'm not hearing any sounds except the marching troops. No flag sounds, no birds singing, nothing.

Is this suppose to be this way for this map?

Yes I have my sound turned up (for those smart arses out there).

Before I applied this patch, I was getting everything, flags, birds, marching music...

Later!

Yeah, sounds like you're having sound issues overall. Happen on other maps?

I tried it and the sound works fine on Alpine.

Hi.

Well, since the new patch install my sounds are..

1) Sounds are very muffled.
2) No ambience for Alpine Map
3) I can hear the ambience on other maps, but I now have to have the volume turned all the way up, and even then it's hard to hear.

I haven't changed anything other than installing the patch.

I'm going to uninstall my sound drivers, and install them again. Something got messed up somewhere.

I'll let you know.

The sound problems have been fixed. It was my system that was acting up.
