Word to the Wise.
Hi.
Just a word to the wise, after playing SOWgb, deactivate the game after you play the game.
I had a system crash, and I'm thankful I deactivated my game before this happened. I made it a point to remember to deactivate the game after I finished playing the game just in case I do have a crash somewhere along the way.
I re-installed Windows, and the game, and had no problems with activating the game, now if I did not deactivate the game I would of had to contact Norb, and jump through the hoops just to get the game back up, and running again.
Consider deactivating before shutting down for the night, or just after you play the game, this way you can safe guard yourself from having to contact Norb about having deactivation/activation.
This is just my opinion, and something I do with this particular game, because it's the only game I own which needs online activation/deactivation.
Cheers...and this is just to remind people that bad things can happen.

Re: Word to the Wise.
The activation is written to the game folder. There is really not much in there that is dependent on your install. You can even install the game to a removable hard drive. As long as the game folder stays the same, the game should always remain activated.

Hi Norb.
I only have one Harddrive, I have no external / removable harddrive which means if I have a crash, all of my work is wiped out unless I do a image of my drive (which I could do I suppose).
That's is why I de-activate the game after I play just in case of a problem.
Cheers...

In that case you are correct. The activation is written to the disk, so if the drive is wiped out, you would lose the activation (and a lot of more important stuff I'm sure).

Re:Word to the Wise.
After losing one computer a few years due to a crashed hard drive where nothing was recoverable (lost alot of pictures), tomorrow I am going to purchase the Western Digital 1TB 'My Book Essential Hard Drive'. I am going to back up the game on this external drive and it is supposed to update automatically on the drive as you update the file on your computer....

I have one of those Mr. Chamberlain sir and I must admit to loving it immensely. I no longer have to worry about losing family videos and photos. It is worth the cost and if you wait a bit newegg.com will have one on sale every now and then.

I have a question: If I just played the demo and then just deleted the folder or uninstalled it without deactivating it and then later on buy the game and reinstall will it activate?

Re:Word to the Wise.
Yes. The demo doesn't require activation. So installing it and then deleting the folders has no effect. After you purchase the game and activate it, make sure you deactivate it if you decide later to delete the folders.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.
