Sound Problems

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

Sound Problems

Post by Alan »

Hi
I am a UK gamer new to GSOW! The game is excellent. I have sampled a number of the scenarios, and on some there is no sound for gunfire/cannon fire (bugle and music seem ok). Can anyone advise please. Thanks a lot.

It's a known issue. The latest beta patch is supposed to resolve it:

Hi

Thanks for your very quick response - much appreciated.

However, I clicked on the link to the patch - entered my user name/password (same as forum?) and received the following error message.

Authorization Required
This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can you advise please. Thanks in advance.
