SOWGB Beta Patch 3

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

Norb/Team,

Okay. Scratch last missive. The key I thought was crashing the game now will not do it. Good deal. So, back to my original supposition, It was probably the modded OOB which did it. Something I missed. Will go back, re-mod that particular one and see.

Good morning,

Downloaded and installed...now, is there some simple way to determine if I did it correctly...as in TC2M "CMP" on the screen?

Thanks

Hi Kerflumoxed,

When the game loads to the Main Screen, it should show in the upper left hand corner : SOWGB 1.0120

If it does, you are all set !!!

I installed beta 3 and got CTD in sandbox kansas scenario. Is there any game log to access to ferret out this problem? I am new so if this is common knowledge I appologize.

Were there any changes to the files available in the SDK? If so, does the SDK download have the new files in it?
There were changes, we'll get a new sdk out soon.

Norb/Team,

New patch installed. Have had 2 consecutive crashes during Sandbox games. One each with modded and stock OOBs. Roughly 5-7 minutes into each game. also, Garnier's textured maps are overridden by the original stock maps. Not a big deal there, just info. Will look at modded OOBs to see if I missed something.

Jack
There's a post above about crashes in sandbox and here you are also saying it happens with our stock OOBs. We'll take a look, thank you.

Does the new patch have any additions to the sound issue?

Norb,

Check my other posts before you dive in. Something else may be going on with my comp. I'm getting some annoying crap from Norton Anti-Virus saying the patch should not be used, etc. Am looking into that now.
