What is the best program to Record Game???

Post by Michael Slaunwhite »

Hi to the great people of this forum.

I'm wishing to record my games so I can critique my game play.

Anyone have any suggestions on which is the best to purchase?

Cheers...

I have never recorded any games, and I save many times as I play. Are these recording programs like Frap restricted to only recording each saved battle segment on its own, or is it possible to link all of these saved segments into one full battle recording from the start of the battle to its conclusion?

In other words, does Frap or some other recording product have something like a movie editing function to enable merging multiple recordings into one full movie?

You can easily merge different movies with the standard windows movie maker program. If you need something more professional you could go for power director.

Windows Movie Maker of course is free... it's in your computer already. Power Director you can download for free at download.com and use the trial period to see the prog. Be advised this is PRO stuff and as such it's rather complex. :)

Another one of those 'right under my nose' things. Clicked on my All Programs menu and its sitting right there: Windows Movie Maker. Thanks GShock, I'll check it out.
