I can't remember if I asked this before.

Does your experience in sandbox game carryover to your total experience? If so, will this also help you gain promotions faster in the historical campaign? Or are these two totally separate?

If not, maybe sometime in a future release, you will have too create a character so this could happen.

Totally separate from each other. But Norb has mentioned having a career mode for Sandbox.
