high scores not updating

I have completed several scenarios with scores, even though not victorys, higher than previous. The high score screen as well as the scenario screen (the one where the scores are posted on the flags) still shows the old high score. I did locate another high score screen in the saved game screen I think, that list scenarios scores and the new high score was reflected. I am interested though in the screen that shows what is required for promotion. Could this be a bug?

Hmm.. Could possibly be a bug. I would have to do some testing to verify this and it's past my bedtime. Anyone else notice this?

I am sure this is broken. I just finiished Greene's Alone with a Major Victory, over 7500 points and the high score screen and the scenario screen still shows zero or no score at all as if it had never been played.

Norb is working on this. It might help if you could send your highscores.dat to sowsupport at scourgeofwar dot com

High score will not update unless you win. Winning is determined by the scenario. So unless the scenario lets the game know that there was a victory, the score will not be recorded. You can't just rack up points, you have to complete the objectives of the scenario.

But he got a 7,500 in "Greene's Alone" and it still didn't record the score. You only need 6,000 for a Major Victory in that scenario.

That is correct and I held the Culps hill objective the whole time.
The High Score screen that shows the promotion requirements shows 0 points. The scenario screen where the points show on the flags shows nothing. But...if i go to sandbox and click the star there to view high scores the Greene's Alone is listed there with the correct points. Strange. I will try to forward the requested file to sowsupport as Little Powell suggested but I'm at work now.

Sounds like the game is saving the scores to the wrong file. CustHighScore.dat instead HighScore.dat.

I bring this to the top because I sent the requested file in several days ago and was hoping to hear somthing? You see I have scored 3500 points on McPherson Ridge with Hoth but it does not reflect in the High Scores page so I can't be promoted and play subsequent scenarios. I complain about this only as a consumer that paid for an item that I guess has a significant portion I can not use. Either this needs to be fixed or free up all scenarios for play which is something it looks as thought he developers do not want to do. So what is the suggestion? If others are not having this problem then should i wipe the game completely from my hard drive and reinstall? Does anyone know?

I wouldn't wipe the game completely just yet. The fix has gone in for this, just needs some testing.

In the meantime, you can play all of the scenario's if you download the SDK.
