Damned Traitor!
I was playing a sandbox with the new beta, brigade vs brigade. Busy moving regiments around and then decided to go back to myself (Gen. Carr) and found out I had deserted and joined the rebs. :laugh:

Ahh yes 
The code to make you run away does not work on TC'd units, and your own player is always TC'd.
