CTD in sandbox games

Hi. I'm afraid I have to report I am getting consistent CTDs when I play div V div in the sandbox scenarios. I do not know why. I'm sure these have been reported before but I just wanted to report them myself. Hope the patch, when it comes, fixes them.

Which OOB are you using? Which commander are you choosing?

Little Powell, I am choosing the union side...Div versus Div...a variety of commanders...hunt them down scenarios no objectives/hunt them down objectives/line of sight battles.... doesn't seem to be limited to a particular commander or type of battle. I havn't tried the confeds yet..I shall do so. BTW, would love to download the beta patch (it has something about fixing CTD in sandbox games I thnk..) BUT even though I'm on broadband (in Australia mind you...which is about as fast as a one legged snail!) it has a TERRIBLE download speed...for about 200MB, it says it will take 8 hours to download. Not sure if thisis my side...or whether you guys can do anything about that? (I don't have such poor download speeds for other sites..just yours.)

Great game though...really getting into it (when it doesn't spit me out just when I am getting the upper hand!).

We are about to launch another patch and I great reduced the download size. Hopefully good enough for you. Also, we have switched hosts on this site recently. This new one seems much faster.

Norb, great. Thanks. Looking forward to it; the size reduction and the shifting of hosts will surely help. You've probably been told many tmes before, but really great game; gets under one's skin, and I find myself getting thrashed, but continually coming back to it to try again. Sure mark of an addictive formula! Hope some filthy rich, money bags of a publisher gets to hear of it and throws buckets of cyril-ash at you to develop it even more! I'm having a devil of a time controlling my units effectively...but hey, that'll come with practice.
