Very nice indeed, the meld of audio is super. One thing, final credits need to be more opaque and possibly bolder...difficult for me to read as presently presented.
For future videos I have a request: Melding game videos (set up specifically) with GB movie footage, making transitions from the footage to the game, or vice-versa. But wait for my Damned Red Flags please. B)
Yea reb, I will have to wait till your wonderful flags are in the game, which leads me to wonder why are the federal state flags in the game and confederate flags are generic,
its like they weren't important, or most likely a time issue... http://www.norbsoftdev.com/media/kunena ... /flag3.jpg[/img_size]

Lee gave orders that all units would carry 'Southern Cross' battlefield flags at Gettysburg. Still, some units displayed their local flags in addition, however, the 2nd Georgia went with their Stars and Bars alone...they were real Rebels.
Some of the included CSA flags with my mod are for 'State' personality and gameplay...not historic. Makes it much easier to find those colorful commanders.

Hopefully there will be a few of the 2nd issue of "bunting" flags with the orange border! :woohoo:

Well thanks for clearing that up Reb, you taught me something today...Hey those flags look awsome, I just wish the game would show flags more realisticly, hanging off a pole downward instead of always opened up ...maybe you can work on that one..

I suppose the historic flags mod is coming soon for the rebs but is there anything of such magnitude (that jpg is A W E S O M E !!!!) for the USA side? Reforming the CSA flags and leaving the USA flags as they are would really not look so good... and it would also be unfair.

In a nutshell...FRAMES
It's certainly possible, and I've done some. But the amount of frames necessary for what you're talking about would probably be in the hundreds. The stock flags with SOW are 8 frames, my DRF are 12 frames except for my boys, the 3rd Arkansas, are 24 frames...heh heh heh
The stock flags take up 130 MBs(uncompressed for some reason), my 47 DRF flags take up 37 MBs (compressed, or they would be over 100 MB). To achieve what you're asking would be in the GB++ range...this won't happen until 64 bit systems are the norm...Sorry.

Wow! That's really nice and will adds tons of atmosphere to the game. Those flags need to be part of a formal NSD patch and not just a personal mod.
Any chance you can tackle the federal flags? I'd really like to see all those Pennsylvania flags with the PA state seal in the canton.
Much appreciated, and thanks for the plug to Norb. Still, I understand why they can not be included...32 bit performance issues, game is already at the brink, bulk wise.
Federal flags? Time will tell. Presently the Union flags are well represented.

Got 'em historically covered. However, my feathering techniques faded those gold borders substantially. As my techniques improve, perhaps I can eventually go back and do them justice.
