Enjoyed Last Nite!

Post by Smintar »

Well since I got this new system up and running I got in some mp.Bad part about I got my @@@ handed to along with my mates.Played 2 mp games before ritiring this old frame to bed. One was 60 min. and the other was 90 mins but we surrender before that :).

The game ran very well for the first 60 with 3 of us playing. The second was to me impressive, we had 9 5v4 I was with the 4 ! the game was very stable a little slow at times but no one crashed ! so all in all, ALL was good!!We all went via IP were we have had the most success in playing. Just wanted to let the folks know how good its been.

I really meant to ask but Is there a chance NSD can develop a DEDserver file for GB?

DeD server can be really the ultimate stability and performance tool for this game.

It's something on the list, but the design of the game makes it not that necessary.

I suppose the engine stresses the machines and the host in particular... not having to load the graph part of the engine for the DED would result in a more stable platform allowing low end rigs to host on ded servers as well as allowing 24/7 championships, leagues, tournaments to take place.

Ded servers could also be used for a sort of ELO ranking system or challenge system league play. Just some ideas. :)
