Gettysburg visit

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

Gettysburg visit

Post by Amish John »

Visited Gettysburg this weekend again. Two changes I saw: The Wills house on the square in town has been repainted red as a part of its restoration by the National Park Service. Second, progress is being made removing portions of Patterson woods between the Taneytown Road and Cemetery Ridge.

If you haven't been there yet, try the Cannonball Malt Shop on York Street adjacent to the Wills house.

Here is a good link to what's happening at the battlefield and in the town.

You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.
