Well, Norb, you have done it! Not only have you, and your team succeed (in my opinion) in making a fantastic game, I think you folks have broke the mold.
I have been playing non-stop since I received my key, and that was about 5pm my time, and the time now is 4:25am.
I have to say, when I loaded up the first scenario (which I'm still playing), I noticed something very interesting. All of my men were in place, ready to take on whatever was going to come my way. Then off in the distance I saw the Confederates, small at first, then line after line, just a wall of men (TC2M could not capture this scale), and I'm playing with a headset on so I won't disturb my wife. All I know is she tapped me on the shoulder, and asked me to keep it as low as possible. I must have said what I was thinking, and that was "You have got to be kidding me!!!". I didn't know I actually said it out loud.
This game is something to behold. The sheer scope is just incredible. I found myself cringing at the thought of having to take my men into something like this.
Oh well, thanks again Norb.
Too tired to respond to any other posts, I'm going to bed.
Cheers!!!
Too tired to play...

Hey, mikesla , it’s good to hear that you are enjoying the game, hopefully one day you will get a usb \ wifi system together, and get the internet on the other computer.

I guess the problem with the copy-protection is history now.

Yay! Glad you gave in and bought the game, mike! I have been playing it pretty constantly for the past two weeks and LOVE it.

Now that would be nice to have, a wifi system, so I could transfer over to other computer.
I had better write that down on my to do list (long list, the wife seems to have me tied up on chores for the next 4 months, and the list just keep getting bigger  ).
I am having a great time with the game.
Great to speak to you davinci. Have a good day....

Yep, I sure did. It took allot of hours to finally make the plunge, and I'm not regretting one moment of it.
You know, it's actually you, and others, and then finally what Norb said that made me reconsider to purchase the game, and take the leap of faith...
I have read almost all posts that Norb, and his team have posted in response to the needs of their customers, and to tell you the truth, I haven't really come across a dev team like this.
This is a very dedicated team here, and many other teams out their should (I don't use the word should often)follow Norb, and his teams example.
Anyway....I know I have made the right choice.
Great speaking to you MrSpkr.

The other titles out there are still too heavy handed in their approach. Now, if they lowered their wall of fear a bit, and brought in a support team that actually cares about their customers...who knows GShock, who knows.
Also, some of my friends are coming over tonight to take a look at SOW. They couldn't believe I caved. all I know is I'm pretty sure they'll own my computer for a few hours tonight, and I have no doubt that they will jump on board as well.
I can't see them walking away from this title.
Really good to talk with you GShock. Have a great day.
