Re:Sounds I cannot here in Battle.
Is there a way to do this with Vista ?
Right click doesn't bring up "Record" ?
Also, I checked my Sounds Folder and I have Battle 1, 2 and 3. I do not have a Battle 4 file.
I also have CavBattle 1, 2 and 3. Is this correct ?
Thanks

I guess the option is only available to those who have the sound mixer? The trick proposed by norb didn't work with me, I don't have such option in the recording options of the sound device... It's not hidden, there simply isn't one.

Yes, I have W-7 also, but do not have Battle 4 either! Guess I was "flashing"...for a second there thought I had accidentally deleted it!
So, is there a viable alternative for W-7 to turn up the volume?
Thanks

HiGuys ---You are probably right--I have XP and this is the method I have learnt to use. I am only a game user and cannot advise you re Vista or 7. But there must be some Vista/7 geeks out there who would be able to advise you---
For info of any others reading this thread it seems the advice I have given above re increasing .wav volume is for XP systems only---I was unaware of this limitation and apologise to those with other O.S's who may have tried to use this method. Hope this gets sorted soon.

Re:Sounds I cannot here in Battle.
No well there are hundreds of applications designed to edit/equalize sound files for all OSs, the point is that before trying I would just like to be sure it's a matter of volume because i'm not really sure it is. I hear sound disappearing entirely and some sounds are muffled, the only one who can really solve the prob for us is Norb.

I have to say I do miss XP, spose after using something for a few years you get use to all the features, Then Windows 7 comes along its very much learning things over again.
Having said that I am quite enjoying the extra power and memory that a dual core gives you, 7 features are very good too.
