Take Charge and Couriers.... ?

Post by Kip »

Hi,

If you set a unit to Take Charge but are using Couriers for that level of command can you still order the unit around?

I know when you have the Take Charge deselected/turned off and you order the unit a courier is sent from the unit’s superior so there is an orders delay. But then the unit does as it is told unless the unit AI kicks in.

What is the case with units you have Taken Charge of... was confused watching my units in a test game... ;).

Thanks for your help...
Great game...
All the best,
Kip.

Yes, for example; if you have it set to courier level on Brigade and you TC a regiment, there will still be a courier sent to that regiment for commands.

Thanks,
All the best,

Norb would have to confirm but I believe after five couriers have been sent and the message still hasn't been received, they will stop and you will have to re-issue the command.

There is no courier limit.

A given order will be sent 3 times by courier before they give up.
