Scores different on Peach Tree Scenario

When I play this scenario I have more points than the "newspaper" gives me credit for.
I am including screenshots of an example. Had the same problem sometimes with Take Command. Any clue what is going on?

Sorry screen shots wouldn't open. The battle result page has 2600 points and the Newspaper has 2100. I was looking right at Barksdale when the final page came up.

Hmmmmm...maybe you hit a key at the 'one second end mark', and went past 30 mins. How long did you play? Sometimes a key stroke will continue play without showing the end screen.

But you said the Newspaper report was different, I think that will report your 'played on' score, and only the 'high score listing' will be different. Hmmmmmm...
