Am interested in system required to run this game at near maximum ability? I'm interested if I can play Open Battles with full OOB's from both sides or 1/2 or 3/4 or at least get an idea of what kind of system is required to have a lot of units on the map(s). I'm not much into playing scenarios because they are too much the same every game.
So if yall don't mind post your system specs and how much you can do with the game with them?
What's ur system specs & how many men can you have in the game?

I think I must be near or below the bottom. I have a Dell Inspiron 1600 - 1 Ghz Pentium M with 1 Gb RAM and a 128 mb Radien video card. I can play a small (division) battle with low uniforms, 60% trees, nothing off map, and 1000 yards drawing distance. I keep all dead bodies and gun smoke. That will play pretty smoothly. Of course, I don't even notice the drawing distance if I keep the camera low, so I've learned to enjoy the HITS mode in MP. I can play a corps-sized battle but it gets annoyingly jerky once the shooting starts, and for those I like to have the camera up and the minimal landscape looks really weird.

I have an Ultra PC...2quad CPU...2.50GHZ....3 GB ram....R4890 cyclone video card. I can run everything maxed out and get great performance. For the record...I got my machine mainly for running the newer flight simulators which are extremely demanding.

I am on the middle high part of the ladder but I am using lower details to have the game run smoothly. If you actually play with a restricted camera view, it is likely that your inability to see all the battlefield will allow you to play with higher details.
In any case, the thing that takes a LOT of memory is the unit sprite details. I think it's the setting that mostly affects the fluidity performances.

quad core 2.6 mhz with 4 gigs of ddr3 ram. Ati 4650 with 1 gig of ram.
Everything runs smoothly maxed out.
Ps Hey Wilhelm! Another Rise of flight guy :cheer: My rig runs that sim smooth as silk till I get to about 30 planes in the air, then it starts to stutter.
