Pre-game communication?

Post by Garnier »

Has there been any discussion of how you all plan to organize battles before they happen? Some lobby or instant message program that would be more convenient than planning battles on the forum.

Sitting in the game lobby waiting for a game is generally not a good system, unless there are tons of players. I also recall Norb saying the game isn't able to alt-tab currently as well, not sure if this includes alt-tabbing from the menu/lobby.

So how do you intend to communicate? I use MSN/Windows Live messenger so obviously that would be my first choice, but it depends on what everyone does.

There is the MP Lobby, which has a chat function built in. One can also use voice coms such as TeamSpeak or Ventrilo if you choose to do so.
