Can anyone give me a sense as to how Gettysburg SOW compares with the "Take Command" games? I am an ardent fan of "Take Command" and new to this group/board -- so I hope my question is not offensive.

Much of the TakeCommand team and the Scourge of War team are the same.

SOW and TC were both 100% programmed by me. SOW was designed by a team of TC developers and players to be the next level of TC. It is not trying to reinvent what was already started, but to rewrite and improve on a game type that everyone on the team already loved. So if I had written a next TC game, it would have been much like what SOW has become. NSD has a different vision than MMG, but much of the team is responsible for both games.
