Usergroups and future chatroom

Hey Norb

As moderator of the Confederate usergroup at MMG, I was wondering if we will have something like that available here at NSD?

Also, and mind you I'm not trying to be pushy , what is the current outlook/timeframe for a chatroom here at NSD? I do hope it's more up to date than our wonderful "old war horse" over at MMG?:lol:
Poor ol' Phantom Captain gets in there sometimes and ends up wandering around like Hansel & Gretel trying to find us.

Excellent idea JC and with the future commercial success of NSD's first release assured, they might need some clan channels. No not KKK type clan's but gaming clans.B)

The problem is that this board does not have good usergroups. It's actually pretty horrible and there is no good way to give individual permission to a thread. I am using the one group possible for R&R, but that's all I have. I do not know what I'm going to do about it, if anything. It may be that I just set up a clan board using phpbb or something like that.

For chat room, there will not be a chat on the website, the chat will be the game lobby. I only want one chat room, so the lobby is where it is. Anyone can go into the lobby at any time (even now) and chat. So the lobby is more than where to setup games, it's the town hall of NSD.

You need to install BattleHQ to get there outside of the game. Once you have the game, you can get there through the game, but for now you can use the client.

You'll need to register a new username to use this, but it's good to get that out of the way, as the user names are shared among a lot of games, all that are hosted by PowerLobbies.
