what will you do???
what will you do when you first download the game!!! go right into multiplayer? or what scenario will you try first? Not knowing the scenarios, i think i will just start right at the beginning with one of the confederate brigades marching to Gettysburg and running into that ol' yankee cavalry unit. also play the mode of only your view on horseback is what you see. (what ever thats called) lol

In the TC series that option is called H.I.T.S Headquarters in the saddle.
It is them most fun :cheer: and frustrating :woohoo: way to play the game.
I have a question: Can online games be played using HITS (or whatever it is
called)? That would be fun, exciting and challenging.

Is this similar to the Confederate comment about John Pope not knowing the difference between "his headquarters and his hindquarters?" :woohoo:In the TC series that option is called H.I.T.S Headquarters in the saddle.

That's where the idea for the name came from. Very appropriate considering that the game in question was 2nd Manasas.
Any preview of how online games using HITS plays out? Do you allow people to talk to each other with mics or is it strictly in game messenger system? What would be really cool is to allow taking via microphones only if your charecter sprites are 10 ft apart or less. I can imagine literally riding over to a team captain in order to get orders straight!

Someone mentioned here a system where you can only hear the other player if you are a certain distance away (i'll have to find that post). Now THAT would be cool.. Maybe for a future expansion or patch.
It would be cool to have games messenger/courier only, but of course people are going to be chatting with Ventrillo, Teamspeak, cell phone etc.. I suppose there can be rules set for different games (courier only etc.) but it will be hard to police it.That's where the idea for the name came from. The first thing you should do is run through the first tutorial so you can learn the new game interface without getting your gluteus maximus (look it up) shot off because you can't find the button now. The interface has changed significantly from TC2M.

Is it/will it be possible to print off the OOB or other information screens? Something like a Morning Report showing the regimental, brigade and division strengths. The first thing you should do is run through the first tutorial so you can learn the new game interface without getting your gluteus maximus (look it up) shot off because you can't find the button now. Re:what will you do???
Take a Confederate brigade and kill as many Yankees as I possibly can. And if Meade is on the field, I'm going to kill him too.
