Hey, I have a question about the Corps Commander \ Supply wagon , problem, or glitch, that happens in Open Play !
Has the problem been fixed that caused the supply wagon to follow the Corps Commander directly onto the front-lines ?
This causes a serious problem for the AI to re-supply do the close proximity of enemy troops near their supply wagon!
A little in-sight into this will be most appreciated!

I'll have to check to verify, but the Ammo wagons do a MUCH better job avoiding the enemy in this game. They still want to follow their commanders, but if they are heading in the direction of the enemy and get within a certain distance, they will high tale it in the opposite direction. The commanders follow the same concept, they do a much better job of avoiding the enemy.Hey, I have a question about the Corps Commander \ Supply wagon , problem, or glitch, that happens in Open Play !

Just finished another Lee scenario, Pope had a half dozen or so wagons, none of them resupplied AI units that ran out of ammo. They were just ducks for my cavalry. Would like to see those wagons used more sensibly.

Re:Open Play - Supply Wagon - Question?
Little Powell ;
Thanks, if you can let me know of the outcome after testing the Open Play battles.
At first I thought that the supply wagons had a timer attached to them to move after the Commander has been deployed, but now I’m almost certain that they act on a radius .
So, the problem is that the radius needs to be adjusted to keep the wagons from getting too close to the commanders; this should stop them from entering the front-lines.
Boston ;
Which game are you referring to?
Thanks;

Specifically, TC2M, Lee's Carry-over scenario's in SP. It really did not matter which scenario this occurred in, for it was a common result. Did notice in a Jackson AI scenario, that if a Lawton brigade regiment ran out of ammo, it would travel all the way to Sudley Ford to try and resupply.

Re:Open Play - Supply Wagon - Question?
Doing some of the scenario testing lately, I can attribute to the much improved supply wagon movement. It seems to hang back and I have not seen it even come close to the front lines unless I moved it there.
