SUPPLY WAGON RADIUS

Post by BOSTON »

What's the distance in feet in a supply wagon's radius to resupply units? Also in GB, is there other sources of supply, such as depots?

Can't remember the exact number, but it is larger than when I started. I remember a bug on this and RebBugler kicked my butt on this a few times. There are no depots.

Norb,

Does the enemy AI resupply its infantry and artillery?

The reason why I asked for a distance is to keep the wagon from getting the units getting all jumbbled up , is there by chance a measure displayed on screen from the wagon to friendly units?

Yes, it should, but I don't have specific reports to confirm this.

There is no distance display, good idea. But this issue was addressed. I cannot remember the details, but maybe a test team member will chime in.

I've never had a problem with a wagon causing units to get jumbled. But either way, the distance away from the wagon was increased (can't remember what the exact number is) so it's easier to resupply than it was.

To keep it simple (TKIS), Just have the distance to a "friendly unit" without all the different unit discriptions, although it would be nice to know who you intend to resupply. :)

In Open Play the biggest issue with the supply wagon was that the enemies wagons would follow their Commander to the front lines.

This caused several problems with the enemies AI running out of ammunition, but unable to resupply due to the radius of enemy troops near their supply wagon.

Has this been corrected?

Thanks!

Davinci,

That was my question, only you put it so much better than I did.
