Am I correct that the starting positions of the Confederate batteries (before the move to 600 yards or so) are historically accurate relative to the TG/SR1 ground scale? Assuming you are using the B&F mod with Chickamauga, then therein lies the 'Drills' conflict. Since Chickamauga uses the same formations as B&F, rename the Drills file (Logistics/Drills) in Chickamauga. This should eliminate that conflict you're experiencing.

It is the modded file that is called to make the icons smaller. When it's renamed, that makes it inactive. Are you sure you renamed the file in the B&F mod?

Rename the 'Map_Icons.tga' file found in the Graphics/Screens folder. Glad you enjoy using B&F.

I think whatever might be implemented it has to be simple. A line battalion in the early 1800s would have 700-1200 men, if at full operational strength, and that would be 6 or 8 companies. So saying that there is one company that is capable skirmish order still means anywhere between 100 and 200 me...
