Re: Coming Soon - Pipe Creek Map Pack

$10 is not much to pay for this pack. I shall be purchasing as and when I can.

I am intrigued by the mention of a big expansion....

I must keep an eye open for this.

Re: Installing modded obs

<r>It was something Beef Stu said in one of his posts about getting the beta and it fixed the problem. I thought "Beta what? patch?" I realised then that someone else said something about a "balance forces" button which I did not see in my build. Putting two and two together I realised I was out of ...

Re: Installing modded obs

<t>OK, it's official. I am an idiot.<br/> <br/> I downloaded the game from the website thinking it was the latest build and it turns out I didn't have the 1.2 patch. I had 1.12 or something that confused the beejeezuz out of me, which isn't that hard to do.<br/> <br/> So problem solved. I am now in ...

Re: Installing modded obs

<t>I can but try that. I tried using open office and getting it to save the file as an .xls but the game wouldn't recognise the extension.<br/> <br/> Tried the suggested notepad method and the ammo went from 0 to -1<br/> <br/> It's a real pity as I have the OOB editor program and would love to get s...

Re: Installing modded obs

I just bought the game yesterday. It's the version that's from the download off the purchase page so I assume it's the most recent build.

Can anyone reccommend a free program other than open office I could use for tinkering with OOBs?

Re: Installing modded obs

<r>Same problem as before. I don't have excell on this machine so it automatically uses open office. It's a bizarre problem to have.<br/> <br/> I noticed as well on some sandbox games the Union and Confederates are deployed in the exact same location so the game starts with a hefty rugby scrum going...

Re: Installing modded obs

Here it is. Start the game and you can see the infantry Regiments have no ammo in the display.

If I use the NSD_Sample_1 OOB that seems to be ok but if I change anything or rename the file to something I will recognise the ammo goes missing.

Re: Installing modded obs

If I disable the mods and use stock OOBs then everyone has ammo. It seems any OOB from a mod folder gives zero ammo.

Re: Installing modded obs

<t>All you have to do is copy the OOB_SB_Div from the SDK folder to the MODS folder. Create a sandbox game and your troops have no ammo. Game runs fine with no crash.<br/> <br/> Attached is a file I was using and double checked this morning and if you load it into a sandbox game the no ammo situatio...
