Re: Corse and Jenkins

<t>In the official Confederate publication, "Operations of the Army of Northern Virginia", Vol. 2, the battle is described in exquisite detail by the commanding officers at nearly all levels. Included are tables of the regiments & divisions, and even corps, involved. The accompanying tables show...

Re: The F-16 is a wonder

<t>In a world in which, 20 years ago, the federal government paid $500 for a hammer & an amazing sum for a toilet seat, it doesn't surprise me that they can nearly give away aircraft to "friendly" powers, the theory being that it "maintains the balance of power". The federal government that I ha...

Re: Chancellorsville: The Juggernaut

<r>No such luck! Come up the main road between where the targets were. There's plenty of fireworks awaiting you, & Hooker himself... if you get that far. If you do, you might try a mad scramble to the upper right of your screen, so you can kill the Yankee general Sickles. He'll be waiting for yo...

Re: Whats Next?

Zeke did a great job on the OOBs for Jackson. All we lack there are the maps. I agree with rbuck that this would be a great extension, simply because of the mystique of Jackson's Valley Campaign. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Re: We might need a new catagory...The Lace Wars, perhaps?

I think it's an excellent idea. I played some with them in TC2M and enjoyed them immensely (especially those accompanied by maps). :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Re: baby steps modding a scenario

I've encountered that problem often, especially when your infantry is very close to their artillery. It's unrealistic & quite frustrating.

Re: Whats Next?

<t>It would make sense to me that the next addition would continue in the eastern theater. All of the other additions have been built around the theme of Gettysburg/the invasion of the north. Some of us still have TC2M, which did a fine job of trying to knit together Civil War campaigns. I would be ...

Re: Great Campaigns of the Civil War - Jacksons 1862 Valley Campaign Released

<t>Zeke-<br/> Using my imagination a little, I remembered General Gordon's pre-Gettysburg strike into Pennsylvania. It almost reached Harrisburg, but the long bridge into the city was burnt and the troops were recalled for the Gettysburg attack. I know this isn't your priority right now, but it was ...
