Re: Shiloh Redux - Released

A note about the second scenario Bullets for Breakfast.

Spain Field was 300 yards in front of the union camps, and the brigade was aligned to the south in double line formation against Chalmers and Gladden. With Hickenlooper and Munch in support.

Re: Silicon Magician Presents: A Photographic Tour of Shiloh

Thought some of you guys would be interested anyway.<br/> <br/> So.<br/> <br/> This is a hillock across the road from Shiloh...

Changing command level in GCM SP campaign

<t>I was trying to find a way that before playing a GCM SP mission what I need to change to take over the command of the entire army rather than just my division in the scenario. I've done some searches here and I think it involves changing something in the scenario.ini file inside the mission folde...

Re: Silicon Magician Presents: A Photographic Tour of Shiloh

<r>LOL.. I like to read open source books written by contemporaries and veterans of the civil war. Here is one I found on Project Gutenberg by a Private in Hurlbut's Division at Shiloh. It's filled with that classic soldiers wit and humor about the battle. <br/> <br/> For instance, he cracks a joke ...

Favorite Settings for Sandbox Play?

<t>I'm curious as to if anyone has any good advice for how to set up the objectives, timing, scores, etc. for sandbox play that will optimize the AI's ability to fight at the Corps/Army Level. I know an AI isn't a human being of course, but Norb's AI is absolutely fantastic and given the right condi...

How does the NSD team decide commander statistics?

<t>Okay, so I been playing some of these converted Shiloh OOB's and there are several discrepancies. Using Garnier OOB tool I went to move a few things, change a few commanders around but found that the commanders are pretty generic numbers wise.<br/> <br/> I know this a subjective things, but since...

Re: TC2M & CMP 3.0 OOB's for SOWgb is a dead link

I'd love to have those OOB's myself. I heard Shiloh's OOB is in there, and it just so happens that some of Garniers Random maps look an awnful lot like that region of Tennesee.

Please email to pturner1976 at hotmail.

Thanks.

Re: Silicon Magician Presents: A Photographic Tour of Shiloh

<t>Thanks man, but really. Shiloh profoundly affected me in a way that Gettysburg and Antietam did not. After seeing that nasty piece of forested ground myself, I can say that without a doubt, the Confederate Soldier was the baddest ass man to walk the Earth and carry a rifle. Sure, the Prussians by...

Re: Day 1

<r>So, that is really about it. I only had so much battery power and couldn't possibly cover everything that is out there. Even if there weren't a battlefield, it is a good place to hike. Hike I did aplenty of. So, I will finish up now with various "odds and ends" pics. Usually of the death markers ...
