Re: 10 Mile Map - Released
<t>My NVIDIA is set to max performance and not quality. Just for kicks and giggles I ran a couple scenarios for you on your 10X10 just to see what would happen.<br/> <br/> I have two mods going that could have an impact, one provides the corps commander with a command to move the whole corps and the...

Re: 10 Mile Map - Released
<t>I have an older machine. An Intel i5 with 4GB Ram and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550Ti. With a single corps per side I had 24FPS consistently. It dropped a bit to 10-15 and then went back up. I then pulled out my mega OOB reinforced with some Western troop and dropped 120000 Union and 100000 rebels in...

Re: Scourge of War 1.5 Patch / Activation Errors
<t>I had the same issue. I did not see the revision to 1.5 until I had downloaded and run the first version and could not change from C: to D: When I reinstalled to D it locked me into demo mode. I deleted the Matrix Game keys in the registery and then reinstalled 1.5rev. Game then worked as I creat...

Re: Morale Versus Rate of Casualty Question
<t>thx, I thought so as well and observations from the last couple fo MP games where we reduced the "to hit" chance which reduced/slowed the loss rate seemed to confirm it. As a result we are seeing units rout less often, run a short distance, and rally much more often. Very few off board routs. Uni...

Re: Rifles.csv
<t>We fight at multiple corps level and enjoy longer battles so we increased ranges to 330 yards as well. Losses skyrocketed as expected due to the longer range so after a couple tests we put in a -105 "to hit" modifier across the board to reduce losses. We did not like huge losses at long range and...

Morale Versus Rate of Casualty Question
<t>I think I understand this, but want to make sure. I know there are other -rally/morale mods at play, just looking at loss rate atm. According to the unitattribute file everytime a unit suffers a casualty or a nearby unit suffers a loss the unit in question suffers a -rally modifier with less expe...

Re: Command and Control of AI units during MP Games Question
<t>Based on comments after the battle the major issue the rebs had while doing this was two different players were issuing orders to the same unit and were pulling it back and forth. Once they realized that the the units moved just fine. However, if Lee or either Army commander sends sends a new cou...

Re: Looking for a game
We play Thursday evenings, 600PM CST, most of us command corps level HITS, but do have people pop in to command brigades, sometimes artillery, Army Commander, or cavalry pulling recon for the main body.

Re: Antietam OOB
<t>Hmmmm, accepting constructive critiscm is always good, defending mistakes that could easily be corrected is another matter. Quite frankly it sounds like an excuse for simple mistake and you missed my point entirely. If you are going to call something "historical" expect someone to call you on you...
