Ran the Dxsetup yes, and restarted. Once logged in, I ran the game and it crashed immediately as usual. Did I take a wrong step there?

Yes, I downloaded the exe and ran it, but it did nothing more than extract files

After some long hiatus, I finally downloaded DirecX, but to where do I extract the files? I downloaded it once and extracted it to my downloads folder... it didn't work, so I'm willing this last stretch puts an end to this problem.

I don't think I touched anything about the DirectX files, I only re-installed the game using direct download from the website, but that succumbed to the dreaded 'Runtime' error as well.

The game ran once before, (the demo and the activation screen), but only shortly. In the time that the company sent me a renewal code for my game(since my game was still active and using my old activation code)
