how can i reactivate the game with my code i purchased? it won't let me.

i just wanted to clarify that i'm not blaming the game, but the sites that allow you to download it for not giving you a backup disc when things like this happen.

nothing has worked so i'm just going to stop asking for advice and not be able to play anymore. i just think that on ordering the game you should get an actual disk so that if something goes wrong with the downloaded one you don't get cheated out of $45 and still be able to play.

how do i disable the anti virus component on avg anti-virus free? or do i have to completely shut avg off?

that's what it says when it wants to terminate the game when the message pops up.

would it solve my problem if i uninstall the microsoft visual c++ items?

it crashes directly on startup before i even see the main menu. i had the patch installed before it started crashing on me. the demo worked when i bought it then a few days later i used my paycheck to buy the full game.
